Nonprofit Listserv – Opportunities and Information 

Nonprofits are encouraged to join the Central Texas Nonprofit listserv which serves the Central Texas Nonprofit community by sharing information among nonprofits and community stakeholders.  This is also where upcoming grant opportunities are often listed. To be added to the CentralTXNonprofits Google Group send a request via email to info@ctxcf.org.  

 

Grant Opportunities

Grants from CTXCF Fund Advisors 

Various Funds that are administered here at Central Texas Community Foundation (CTXCF) give independent grants.  Click on the button below to fill out the general grant application, and we will forward it to the correct Advisor(s) for consideration. Please note that there is no guarantee of funding, and nonprofits will be notified ONLY if they are being awarded funds.

Future Fund Giving Circle (2025-2026 Program Year)

Funding Criteria

Future Fund supports projects that relate to these broad categories: 

  • Education and barriers to education 
  • Children and family support

 Your organization does not need to focus solely on those broad categories so long as the project/program you highlight in your proposal does. Your organization does not need a Williamson County address but must present a proposal for the benefit of Williamson County. Future Fund provides grants to 501(c)3 nonprofits in good standing with the IRS. 

Important Dates

October 23, 2025 – Happy Hour Membership Drive- Individuals come see what Future Fund is about and join to make an impact.

October 31, 2025 – Nonprofits submit your applications by this date!

By November 17, 2025 – All nonprofit applicants will be notified if they are Finalists who will be advancing to in-person presentations.

Week of December 1, 2025 – In-person presentations by the top 6-8 nonprofit Finalists to the Future Fund Committee will take place during this week.  The Committee will then narrow the nonprofit groups to the top 4 Awardees.  The 4 Awardees are guaranteed a grant (the amount will be based on the number of memberships and the number of votes the nonprofit receives from those members) that will be celebrated in October of 2026.

January 22, 2026, AND April 16, 2026 – Two (2) Finalists will make a presentation to the Future Fund membership at each of these two membership events.

October 2026 – Future Fund Distribution Party and Happy Hour

Round Rock Chamber of Commerce

Leadership Round Rock Class Project 

Application window opens in December and runs through the end of January. The nonprofit project will be chosen mid-February.  

Hood Endowment

Rolling application. The Hood Committee meets quarterly to discuss applications and make recommendations for funding. Apply using the General Grant Application
