On July 5, 2025, catastrophic flash floods tore through Travis and Williamson counties

Fueled by an extraordinary surge of rainfall, entire communities were left underwater. Families have been displaced, homes destroyed, and tragically, lives lost.

We are calling on the strength and generosity of our community!

Help rebuild what was lost in just a matter of hours. Your donation will provide financial assistance to individuals and families who need support. For those affected by this tragedy, the Central Texas Community Foundation is working with leadership from both Travis and Williamson Counties.

Round 1 Distributions

Early November, the first round of direct financial support to individuals began.  Round 1 consisted of $3.35 million that was raised through Travis County CARES, WilCo CARES and the Band Together Texas benefit concert.  This initial round of support was calculated with guidance from an advisory committee made up of local leaders and stakeholders from across Central Texas with actuarial support from Texas Mutual.  The regional leadership on the committee reviewed all applications, prioritizing applicants with the highest level of impact and lowest incomes to ensure that funds are allocated fairly and responsibly in line with community needs.

Round 2 Distributions

Using the same methodology as in Round 1, Round 2 funding was distributed in late spring of 2026.  This second round of funding amounted to $4.3 million in distributions directly to flood victims.
