Parmer Lane Fire Recovery Fund

On the afternoon of Tuesday, August 8th, a brush fire off Parmer Lane caused significant damage to an apartment complex. One apartment building was a total loss and units in two more buildings were damaged.

More than 350 neighbors, friends, families and businesses came together to raise just over $40,000 to help those whose homes were directly affected by the fire.  Roughly 6 weeks following the fire, the funds were distributed through an application process administered by the Central Texas Community Foundation in conjunction with the City of Cedar Park.  For the Applicants that qualified and submitted all required documentation, checks were distributed in September 2023.
